Over the last thirty years, from the launch of the “Brocca Project” until a few years after the 2010 school reform, we have witnessed lively discussions and debates on the subject of education, especially on the delicate issue of the underlying cultural model that should inspire the educational spirit of the new high schools. The issue has also seen moments of conflict, especially on the delicate question of the value of classical culture and its role as a central educational paradigm in the Italian high school system.
