Ars docendi 25/2025

In the last issue of 2025, we turn our attention to individual major events of the past few weeks for classical languages, review three recently published books that are highly relevant to Latin and Greek teachers for various reasons, and introduce two topics that will continue to occupy us in the coming years:

a)         A survey of teacher training students asking them which three goals they consider relevant for Latin teaching today;

b)    And a concern raised by a young Italian colleague, which is likely to be shared by others: the connection between grammar and reading lessons in updated questions and tasks.

We hope you find this issue inspiring and wish you all the best for 2026!

Look forward to our issues in the new year, as we have found exciting topics that we would like to examine and reflect on in a broad European context.
