For the past six years at the classical high school ‘Walther von der Vogelweide’ in Bozen/Bolzano, from class 2 onwards, a joint Greek and Latin lesson has been held one hour a week. We will present the concept, method and objectives as well as concrete examples of topics discussed in previous years. Especially with a view to the interdisciplinary preparation of students for the state examination, this model can make a considerable contribution, which is also explicitly appreciated by the students themselves.
